The Cave

Updated December of 2005, the old cave is still here

Not much explanation needed here, simply the door to the cave.

The pics above are of the East wall of the cave. Since it was a utility room, there is still a fair amount of exposed plumbing - great hangers for tubing & hoses! In the background of the right pic is the racking table. Offset by the height of a 6½ gallon carboy, so you don't have to worry about losing your prime.

The North wall of the cave. Pretty straightforward, I don't think anything here needs an explanation, but feel free to ask...

The West wall of the cave. The water softener doesn't have anything to do with brewing, but I didn't see any reason to move it.

OK, so the perspective's a little off, but you get the idea.  Since I don't actually have access to a cave, I settled for a utility room in my basement. There is no pic of the South wall, but it's a small room, so all that is there is the racking table - you can see part of that in the East pic, the sink (do you really want to see a picture of a sink?), & the inside of the door.
